St. Louis High School Student Outs Porn Star Science Teacher
GENESIS - 38-year old, Parkway High School Science teacher, Tera Myers, was put on administrative leave after a student discovered her XXX past from two decades ago. This is not the first time this St. Louis teacher was outed because of her adult entertainment past. In 2006, she was suspended in Paducah, Kentucky when she was starring in pornographic films under the name Terika Dye. Although the teachers and parents stood by her for the time being, her contract was not renewed. She later shared her story on the “Dr. Phil Show,” and one year later began work at Parkway North High School. Parkway North Officials said they did not know about her past until a student found the video and was curious if a background and reference check were necessary. Since Myers did not do anything illegal, her X-rated past did not show up on her background check. In the ’90s, she was featured in such films as: Double Your Pleasure Double Your Fun, and In Thru The Out Door under the name Rikki Andersin. Myers was reported saying that she made the films while working as an exotic dancer in California because she needed the money. She will be paid until the end of the school year, however, is not allowed to return to the school. The district was surprised to learn of her past and believe “She has tried to move on with her life...”
I feel bad for Tera Myers, I really do. She's lost two teaching gigs now, all because she made a few porn flicks and stripped a little way back in the '90's. She's probably too old to go back to that type of work now and all she wants to do is teach some high school kids. Let her teach! This chick knows more about life than most of us and could impart a lot of that wisdom to her students. She should apply to teach at Northwestern. Their rules are a little looser.
